aleksz – new song available
“Engel-Stadt” (Angel-City) is aleksz’s new project. The idea is to write songs about the paintings of artist Stephanie Walz-Caluori (www.picart.ch).
The sound about the first painting is done: On “Downtown” Stephanie painted her personal feelings about the unbelievable event of 9-11. Her painting is however very light, full of love and hope and holds the best wishes for all the deceased people.
aleksz took up Stephanie’s idea in her song “Downtown” and created a song full of warmth and love towards the people, and yet the song also holds a component of solitude. The intro and the outro of the song remindes us of a mourning march, we say goodbye to our beloved ones and certainly hope to see them all again.
